Project Lesotho 2011

Lesotho is a country in South Africa, a Kingdom which gained its independence in 1966, but still is completely dependent on the rest of south-Africa. The capital of Lesotho is Maseru, and their official language is English and Sesotho.

My English class here on Sandvika vgs, have a project were we are collecting money for a school in Lesotho. The school is for children from 6-18, and we want to give them better learning opportunities with raising 14.000 kroners too help them receive internet in their classrooms.
Last lesson my group went to Oslo to sell cakes and “lussekatter” and we manage to collect over 2500 kroners to our project. We are very happy with the result and are looking forward to raise even more in the future.

  1. Yes I am so impressed with how much money you managed to collect. We should be able to get the 14.000 in no time!
